The Craic is a location-based social app designed to help adults connect with nearby people who share similar interests. These guidelines ensure a safe, respectful experience for everyone.

Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to use The Craic. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement. Accounts found to belong to minors will be immediately terminated.

Child Safety

The Craic has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement. See our full Child Safety Standards.

Respect Others

No harassment or bullying - Treat everyone with respect
No hate speech - Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability is prohibited
No threats - Violence or threatening behavior is not tolerated
Respect boundaries - Accept when someone isn't interested

Be Authentic

Use your real identity - No impersonation or fake profiles
Accurate photos - Your photos should represent who you actually are
Honest information - Don't misrepresent your age, location, or intentions

Keep It Safe

No explicit content in profiles - Keep photos and bios appropriate
Meet safely - When meeting in person, choose public places and tell someone where you're going
Protect your privacy - Don't share personal information like addresses or financial details

Prohibited Content

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation of minors
Non-consensual intimate images
Illegal activity or solicitation
Spam, scams, or commercial solicitation
Malware or harmful links
Content promoting violence or self-harm

Reporting

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines:

All reports are reviewed and investigated. You can also block users to prevent further contact.

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

Warning
Temporary suspension
Permanent account termination
Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activity)
